Expired Inspirational Products

On this lovely Tuesday evening, I am having a beer while surfing the web and came across this fantastic list of expiration dates of items... not just food either...

First here are some of the beverages I enjoy while drawing, painting or thinking about drawing & painting...

Beer
Unopened: 4 months.

Wine (red, white)
Unopened: 3 years from vintage date; 20 to 100 years for fine wines
Opened: 1 week refrigerated and corked

Coffee, canned ground
Unopened: 2 years
Opened: 1 month refrigerated

Tea bags (Lipton)
Use within 2 years of opening the package

Next, the art studio items all you people like me are hanging onto long past the expiration date...

Paint
Unopened: Up to 10 years
Opened: 2 to 5 years

Spray paint
2 to 3 years

Clean Up stuff goes bad???

Bleach
3 to 6 months

Dish detergent, liquid or powdered
1 year

Laundry detergent, liquid or powdered
Unopened: 9 months to 1 year
Opened: 6 months

Metal polish (silver, copper, brass)
At least 3 years

Mr. Clean
2 years

Windex
2 years

Thank you realsimple for sharing that with me... I'm going to go through and organize my drawers of paint now. I had no idea Mr. Clean even went dirty!
