My wife is an ubber-cool artist and is always wanting to work with unique canvas sizes... but I didn't know how to build frames and stretch canvas to help her.

Random tip: after you assemble the frame,instead of the metal square you can kinda push the frame into the corner of a doorway to make sure it's square... and keep rotating it and tapping it 'till it's square.
One of the cool things about stretching your own canvas is that you can use the heavy duty stretcher bars & there is no need for a frame.
